The
daycare center opened in 1998 and is available to all children whose parents have to work.
These
tots are fed breakfast, lunch and two snacks every day and are supervised by
a paid staff. But with such a need for child care in the community,
we have outgrown the building.
Construction
has begun on a new daycare center, made possible by money donated
to the mission. It will include a playground available to all neighborhood
children. It's scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2005.
